Anderson Cooper has a scoop on his CNN show tonight.
He's got an expose on the Pinehaven Christian Children's Ranch in Montana. That's a last stop for kids who are on the road to career criminality.
The people who run the ranch are folks who believe a guy named Satan is behind the delinquency that leads kids to this kind of place.
I personally think shitty parenting is behind most juvenile delinquency. But maybe Satan is engineering the shitty parenting.
Who knows?
One thing that I'm 100% sure about is that the Big Pharma solution to teen misbehavior, i.e. just pump the little shits full of pharmaceuticals, isn't the way to go, and I believe Anderson knows that too.
As an atheist I'd rather have my children in a Christian camp than full of pharmaceuticals.
Be that as it may, I have a generally high opinion of Anderson Cooper. His recent coming out was not a surprise to anyone who has followed his career, but it still took a certain amount of courage.
So I was a little disappointed to see Anderson kicking around such an easy target.
Meanwhile, over on ABC there's a show about the mental anguish of sperm donors.
America is teetering on the edge of a cliff at this point in history. ABC and CNN are major sources of news for this nation on the brink. The best they can do is talk about Christians and sperm donors?
