Libyans free, but cost of food doubles

The newly free people of Libya may be enjoying their new freedoms, but they're not enjoying the massive price inflation of food staples, cooking oil, and gasoline.

Nor are they enjoying the fact that armed militias are showing no inclination to hand over their weapons to the imaginary central government that the NATO countries officially recognized months before the demise of Gadaffi. The entire country lives in constant fear of the lawless and unaccountable former NATO rebels who are making the most of their accidental good fortune.

It's not all bad news though in the newly democratic Libya. The price of hashish is apparently way down and available on every street corner.

So fire up those water pipes, freedom loving Libyans, and try to look on the bright side.
